What We Do

Mission Statement

The Greater Pittsburgh Sister Cities Association (GPSCA) seeks to provide a framework and forum to develop and sustain cultural, social, educational and economic ties between the Greater Pittsburgh area and the international community through its sister city relationships.  The GPSCA works with local volunteer “sister city committees” and interested constituencies, committed to initiating and organizing activities that will enhance and solidify the relationships between the Greater Pittsburgh area and its sister cities.

Misión del Proyecto

The Greater Pittsburgh Sister Cities Association (La Asociación de Ciudades Hermanas de Pittsburgh [ACHP]) se esfuerza para proveer una estructura y un foro para desarrollar y sostener vínculos culturales, sociales, educativos y económicos entre la gran área metropolitana de Pittsburgh y la comunidad internacional a través de sus relaciones con sus ciudades hermanas. La ACHP trabaja con voluntarios de los "comités de las ciudades hermanas” locales y las ciudadanías interesadas, todos comprometidos a la iniciación y organización de actividades que aumentarán y solidificarán las relaciones entre la gran área metropolitana de Pittsburgh y sus ciudades hermanas.

Currently there are 12 citizens of Aguascalientes and about 13 more from the city of Pittsburgh participating in the Pittsburgh – Aguascalientes Sister Cities Project. We invite you to join us and to share your time and ideas with this project, building a legacy of open borders for future generations in this age of technological advancements and growing prosperity.
